Setting Up MPT in MetaMask Wallet
New to Crypto? Fear not, we are here to guide you, step-by-step, on how to set up your MetaMask wallet and also how to add the MPT token into your wallet.
STEP 1: Go to https://metamask.io on Google Chrome Click “Download Now”
STEP 2: Click “Install MetaMask for Chrome”
STEP 3: Add the MetaMask extension to your Chrome browser
STEP 4: Click “Get Started” to open a new account
STEP 5: Click “Create a Wallet”
STEP 6: Click “Agree”
STEP 7: Create your password
STEP 8: Reveal your secret words (backup phrase) and write them down on a piece of paper. You can also store your backup phrase in a USB flash drive, preferably after encrypting it.
This seed phrase is the ONLY way to recover your MetaMask wallet account. Please make sure to keep it in a safe place.
DO NOT STORE THIS SEED PHRASE IN YOUR COMPUTER! DO NOT EVER EVER SHARE THIS SEED PHRASE WITH ANYONE!
STEP 9: After revealing and saving your backup phrase, you need to enter it in order to confirm your backup phrase.
STEP 10: That’s it, you are ready to use MetaMask!
Adding Binance Smart Chain Network
STEP 11: Launch your shiny new wallet. Notice that it's on the Ethereum network by default.
We need to add the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Network to your wallet.
STEP 12: Click here to open a dropdown menu
STEP 13: Click on “Custom RPC”
STEP 14: Fill in the parameters with these details:
Network Name: Binance Smart Chain
New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org
ChainID: 56
Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com
Congratulations, you now have the BSC chain in your MetaMask!
STEP 15: Now we just need to add the MPT contract address into your wallet.
Click “Assets”
STEP 16: Click “Add Token”
STEP 17: Fill in the parameters with these details:
Token Contract Address: 0xABf14398786295ee4638368d2004ECA9D780097E
Token Symbol: MPT
Token Decimal: 18
STEP 18: And that’s it! Your MetaMask now recognizes the MPT token.
Now let’s blast off to Mars!
